The book goes quite in depth about the interment of Japanese-Americans. This book also gives us a timeline in the beginning of the book with very important dates. It talks about how life was for the Japanese-Americans in these holding camps. The book also states information on how it was like when the Japanese-Americans finally got to be sent back to their homes to live out their daily lives as normal American citizens.

It goes on to talk about how their lives were after they got released, it was very different for them to have to readjust to a normal life, but they still had to deal with the racism and prejudice that would go on in the streets.
